Not too crowded in 5pm. Ordered two signature food, absolutely delicious. The waitstaff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend everyone to dine here, plenty of parking spaces available.

Very friendly staff. Checked on us often to ensure nothing needed. Restaurant very clean. Pollo con arroz was perfect. Refried beans were tasty. Really like the chips and mild hot salsa.

E is for El Nopal. We had an amazing time at El Nopal for the ABC Challenge while celebrating my brother’s birthday with a large group of over 30 people! The staff was incredible—our tables were ready upon arrival, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. We enjoyed the salmon, shrimp, and veggie platter, but the real highlight? The margaritas! A heavy tequila pour made them absolutely unforgettable! Such a fun night with great food, drinks, and even better company. The food was good. Lunch specials were not expensive. The tortia chips was hot. The food was served a very short time after ordering it. They are fast during lunch time. This is great place to go during lunch if you are short on time and want a sit down meal instead of fast food.

I’ve been in town working the past 4 weeks now, this El Nopal has been my cheat day every week. The staff are welcoming and personable. Some of the fastest service as well. I gave only 4 stars for food due to the fajitas not sizzling when they came out the last 2 times however they are always delicious. Will definitely be back when in Louisville again.
